Fighting Pressure Points

Pressure points used for fighting are not a myth, they do exist. But let me tell you, they are of minimal use in the middle of a raging brawl.

Fighting pressure points are learned by almost all martial artists.

Here are few fighting pressure points to start with:

Eyes (dangerous. if you blind him expect to be prosecuted. Fingertips.)

Nose (a broken noes, and accompanying nose bleed, will also fill his eyes with tears so he can't see too well)

Throat (very dangerous - a crushed windpipe will kill. Fingertips, chop or punch.)

Solar plexus (winds him - paralyzes his breathing for a few seconds. Try and jab up just under the sternum. Elbow is good.)

Testicles (every man protects these pretty much instinctively. But a hit here is still pretty effective)

Knee caps (smashing a kneecap can cripple him. Circular kick.)

Shins (very painful to lose the skin, but won't maim him. Scrape down.)

Instep (Stomp on it with your heel.)

Remember though, it's hard enough to land a decent punch or a kick on someone who's dodging and attacking you. You're busy trying to defend yourself... So how are you going to score bullseyes on these tiny moving targets?

So if you're really determined to try and hit these fighting pressure points on a moving target which is trying to hit you back, well best of luck to you, my friend.

Real life is just not like that.
