How To Fall Safely

Most people haven't a clue how to fall safely. They stick their arms out to save themselves, and end up with broken arms or collar bones.

Falling safely only happens with lots of practice.

The biggest danger is hitting your head, so if you fall forwards you have to learn to roll, or else you take the whole impact on your forearms.

Your hands should be palms down, but the fingers of the left and right hands must be turned inwards, towards each other. (If the fingers point outwards, you will break both wrists.)

You can also hold both hands clenched into fists as you hit the ground with your forearms.

If you want to know how to fall safely backwards, you need strong neck muscles to keep your head from banging on the concrete. You have to learn to keep your head tucked forward so the chin presses against your chest.

That's how to fall safely on your back.
