How To Learn Aikido

You ask me how to learn Aikido, so I'll tell you. You start by finding a dojo and an instructor. Until you have those things you have nothing.

How to learn Aikido ... by hard work, of course.Check your phone books look for Martial Arts Schools and find yourself an Aikido dojo. If you're lucky you'll find a couple. Go and see them one by one. Ask the instructors there how to learn Aikido too.

You should watch at least one class at each location, and do arrive in plenty of time so you are there before it starts. This is also polite, just as arriving late is discourteous.

Stay behind when they finish and help the students and instructors to put the mats away... You will pick up more vibes when people are at ease and after the class is finished.

Don't make your mind up right away. Compare a few Aikido schools and think it all over at home. Then decide how to learn Aikido for yourself.

And once you have decided, just do it.

Get stuck into your Aikido training and work hard. You'll love it.

That's how to learn Aikido.
