Aikido Diagrams

An Aikido textbook with really top-notch aikido diagrams is AIKIDO: Kata and Randori, by Nick Lowry, Shihan, who is Chief Instructor of the Windsong Dojo In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.

Diagram of Shomenata, a basic Aikido technique.

Mr Lowry teaches Karl Geiss Aikido, an offshoot of Tomiki style, but Karl Geiss leaves out Tomiki's competitive aspect.

In the Tomiki aikido system, the student first learns 17 techniques which are considered least likely to cause injury to either party but especially to Uke, your training partner who attacks for practise... Just just so you can throw him down.

Lowry Shihan's Aikido book is also available as a downloadable (PDF format) Aikido ebook. Click here for full details on the Aikido ebook.
