Diagram of Pressure Points on the Human Body

diagram of pressure points

We've listed the body's major vulnerable areas on this diagram of pressure points.

The study of pressure point has been of interest to warriors and martial artists of all countries and civilizations since early man picked up and threw the first rock.

Some of the best knowledge appears to have been preserved in Eastern martial arts fighting systems, especially those from Japan and China.

In Japan the art of attacking pressure points is termed Atemi Waza. In China, the epitome of the art is called Dim Mak, or 'Death Touch' - which claims an expert can 'touch' you on a pressure point so that you drop dead some days later.

We basically know our own body's vital areas and already try not to get hit or hurt there... This includes the eyes, throat, groin, armpits, kidneys and solar plexus.
