Stretching For Martial Arts

Stretching for martial arts is the most important type of exercise you can do.

It's more important than having big muscles, in fact you can be an effective martial artist without having a big muscular body.

Stretching For Martial ArtsBut you do need stretching for martial arts to prevent getting injured when training. If you aren't limbered up right, you are very likely to tear muscles while you work out.

Stretching for martial arts mostly involves touching your toes, loosening your hips, arms and shoulders. Basically everything, including your neck, has to be supple and able to move like a well-oiled machine.

Your class instructor will show you a routine to follow, and you can do your stretching for martial arts before every class or, if you want to progress fast, you should do it at home as well... so you get your martial arts stretches done every single day.
