NSW Tomiki Aikido Club at North Ryde
The NSW Tomiki Aikido Club was formed as a breakaway group from the Australian Aikido Association’s Sydney group, which used to meet at Willoughby Park Center, near Chatswood north of Sydney.
John Gay (1918 – 1996)
John Gay, Shihan, was the head of the Australian Aikido Association and the representative of the JAA in Australia.
Kenji Tomiki (1900 – 1979)
Kenji Tomiki was a master of Judo and Aikido, and blended his knowledge of both to create Shodokan Aikido.
